Padworth College wants to revamp oid teaching block

Padworth College is looking to do a refit.

The Sopers Lane centre has applied for planning permission to re-model two parts of the post-1945 ‘Teaching Block’.

On the ground floor it wants to put in a new internal partition wall and doors to divide the existing large store room into a smaller store room, a science prep room and an associated lockable chemicals store.

On the first floor it plans the emoval of internal walls to combine three small classrooms into one larger classroom, which is most likely to be used for science.
