Bradfield Southend paedophile Tony Farr accused of breaching Sexual Harm Prevention Order
A CONVICTED paedophile has been accused of breaching a Sexual Harm Prevention Order (SHPO).
Anthony Farr appeared in the dock at Reading Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, February 12.
The 59-year-old, of Southend Road, Bradfield Southend, is charged with hiding his internet use by deleting material on June 17 last year, in breach of the terms of the SHPO which was imposed by Reading Crown Court in July, 2019 following his conviction for possessing indecent images of children.
Magistrates sent the case to be dealt with by a judge and, in the event of a trial, by a jury sitting at Reading Crown Court on a date to be fixed.
Farr, who ran a visiting hairdressing business at the time of his previous conviction, was meanwhile released on unconditional bail.
