Thirty-one-year-old Mr Hutchins, of Moores Place, Hungerford, is charged with possessing the Class A-controlled drug cocaine with intent to supply it.

He is further accused of possessing the Class B-controlled drug cannabis with intent to supply it.

Finally, Mr Hutchins is charged, jointly with Georgia Maybank from Lambourn, with possessing criminal property, namely, money.

Meanwhile, as well as that joint charge, 28-year-old Ms Maybank, of Market Place, is accused of possessing cannabis with intent to supply it.

All the above offences were said to have been committed in Market Place, Lambourn, between December 1, 2018, and January 1, 2019.

The pair, who were legally represented at the hearing by Simon Hammudi, were told the case was being sent to Reading Crown Court to be dealt with by a judge and, in the event of a trial, by a jury.

Mr Hutchins and Ms Maybank were meanwhile granted unconditional bail.
