A further matched donation from the club's funds to support the RRSG meant that Pangbourne had contributed £5,080 pounds to the Ukrainian cause this year.

Pangbourne Rotary Club president, Saerah Hopley, said that Pangbourne had been among the first to respond to the Ukrainian crisis by transferring £2,280 to a Rotary Club in Warsaw for use at the Ukraine-Poland border.

CEO of the Reading Refugee Support Group, Nick Harborne, gratefully accepted the joint donation.
