Woman murdered in Pangbourne is formally identified as Maya Bracken

A woman murdered in Pangbourne has been named.
Thames Valley Police’s major crime unit has today (Monday) formally identified the victim as Maya Bracken.
She was aged 56.
At around 5.45pm on Thursday (January 4), officers were called to a reported road traffic collision involving a Lexus vehicle on the A340 Tidmarsh Road at the junction with Flower’s Hill.
Ms Bracken was found in the vehicle with a fatal stab wound.
She received medical attention but died at the scene.
Officers said her family has requested for their privacy to be respected at this extremely difficult time.
