Pangbourne Rotary Club donates Christmas cakes to Readifood




Pangbourne Rotary Club continues its recent tradition of donating Christmas cakes to Readifood food bank.

The cakes are being supplied in addition to around 200 food parcels distributed to those in need via Readifood.

The club's donations are made possible by various fundraising activities, including the 40th anniversary Woodcote 10k run on Sunday, January 8, 2023, between 10.15am to 12.15pm.

The Rotary Club of Pangbourne was formed in 1989 and currently has 35 members. The club meets on Monday evenings at 7.30pm for 8pm at The Bull pub in Theale.

The club organises speakers on a variety of subjects. In addition to the regular club meetings, it hosts a programme of social and fundraising events, including Petanque evenings, summer BBQs, local walks, Christmas parties and trips to the theatre.
