Parish councillors back 'Catherine Place' proposal

Bucklebury Parish Council has raised no objection to an area in Upper Bucklebury being named after Kate Middleton

BUCKLEBURY Parish Council said it does not object to a new cluster of homes in Upper Bucklebury being named after Chapel Row's most famous daughter, Kate Middleton.

Rivar Homes wants to give the moniker ‘Catherine Place' to an area in which it has built several homes, as a nod to Miss Middleton, who is to marry Prince William on April 29.

At a meeting of the parish council on Monday, as consultees, the councillors gave their consent to the request.
