Park House School in Newbury closed due to ‘threat’

Parents and pupils are being turned away from Newbury’s Park House School due to an unspecified threat this morning (Tuesday).

The Andover Road school has sent the following message to parents via email, urging them to stay at home today.

“Dear parents, We have received a threat to the school.

“We are communicating with police and will keep you updated.

“Please don’t attend the site.

“We will keep you updated as soon as we can.

“Any students who have arrived will be kept safely on the field until they can be collected or return home.”
