Peasemore pub gets new makeover

The Fox at Peasemore reopened to customers on Friday, October 7.

The popular country pub is in Peasemore, the childhood home of former Prime Minister David Cameron.

The pub closed on Sunday, September 18, for re-decorating.

Owners Phil and Lauren Davidson moved to the pub in 2013, previously managing The Sun in the Wood at Ashmore Green for more than 16 years.

Over the past 24 years they have run four pubs and restaurants, winning BII Licensee of the Year in 2009.

The Fox was nominated for the 2021 West Berkshire Pub of the Year Awards.
