Theale pensioners go back to school for tea party
Theale Green School hosted around 40 senior residents from the local community for its annual tea party on Wednesday, March 22.
Guests were treated to tea and cakes prepared by assistant headteacher Sam Cartland's Year 10 hospitality students, alongside a variety of entertainment including bingo and a quiz.
And it was all thanks to Year 13 students Kyra Radley and Chloe Sanger, who organised and led the event.
Visitors also enjoyed viewing a live performances featuring music by Alfie Hopcroft and a production of Aladdin by Alex Moore, both Year 12 students.
The school said it is "really proud of the students' contributions to this wonderful event" and thanked all the local businesses that supported the occasion by contributing bingo prizes.
These companies included Renegade Brewery, The Bull in Theale, Burghfield Spices, Wokefield Park and Starbucks.
