Person airlifted to hospital following A343 crossroad accident
Another patient has been taken to the North Hampshire Hospital, Basingstoke.
An air ambulance and two ambulances were sent to the scene at around 10.20am this morning to reports of a two-vehicle collision, South Central Ambulance Service (SCAS) spokeswoman, Catherine Morrow, confirmed.
Three patients are being treated. One male is suspected to have suffered abdominal injuries, and one female is suspected to have suffered pelvic injuries. It has not been confirmed which of these patients was air lifted to the John Radcliffe Hospital.
Two fire crews from Newbury were also sent to the scene. It has not yet been confirmed what action was taken by the crews.
