Person hit by train at Thatcham, blocking lines between Newbury and Reading
Train services are cancelled in either direction between Newbury and Reading until further notice.
Train services are cancelled, delayed or revised at all stations between Reading and Westbury after a person was hit by a train at Thatcham.
Trains between Cornwall/Devon and Reading/London will be diverted via an alterative route where possible, with Pewsey, Hungerford and Newbury not being served.
Train tickets will be accepted with Reading Buses Jet Black 1 between Reading and Newbury until further notice.
Arrangements have been made for Great Western Railway rail tickets to be accepted for the following journeys.
Reading buses Jet Black 1: Newbury (Wharf), Thatcham (Cropper Close), Midgham, Aldermaston, Theale (The Crown), Reading (Station) are conveying passengers via any reasonable route until further notice.
And train services between Westbury and Swindon via Melksham have also been cancelled due to emergency services dealing with an incident at Melksham
