Person 'seriously injured' in car and motorbike accident on A4




An accident on Gravel Hill last night (Monday) between a car and a motorcycle has left one person with “serious injuries”.

A South Central Ambulance Service spokesperson said that the incident occurred at 4.49pm.

A rapid response vehicle, ambulance and air ambulance crew treated one patient for serious injuries.

The patient was then taken to John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford.

The stretch of road between Speen towards Hungerford was closed off at 5.30pm last night from the A34 to Church Road.

Officers were called to the scene to divert the traffic, which has since been cleared.
