Bin changes to be debated again at council

A petition to pause the bin collection changes is being lodged at West Berkshire Council this week.

The matter, around the switch to three weekly black bin collections, will be debated at full council.

Conservative group leader Ross Mackinnon has also got in on the act for tomorrow’s (Thursday) meeting, with a question tabled for the executive.

“How many residents paid the Garden Waste Charge, and how much did the charge raise, during the financial year 2022-23, and how do those figures compare with those in the 2025-26 Budget?” he asks.

The council meets at 7pm tomorrow (Thursday) evening.
