Play equipment celebration for Kintbury St Mary's
The whole of Foundation Stage and KS1 had been eagerly awaiting the equipment, which they had helped to choose, which is aimed at giving them lots of challenge and opportunities for creative play.
The school was delighted to welcome members of the Parent Teacher Association (PTA) to cut the ribbon and a spokeswoman for the school, Emmanuelle Matthews, said: “We’re so grateful to the fundraising efforts of our PTA and all those who generously supported events to secure the funds for our playground equipment.
“We would also like to thanks the Greenham Common Trust for their grant towards the project, through the Vibrant Villages scheme. “
We look forward to watching children have wonderful learning play for years to come.”
