Shaw House will open its doors throughout half-term week and offer a glimpse of the lives of those who lived in the house in its
exhibition.
People can learn about the upstairs and downstairs loves of servants Rowland and Rose and the philanthropic Henry and Isabella who raised eight children there.
The exhibition will run from today until March 16 but on Wednesday, February 19 you can create your very own scratch art heart magnets at a family activity day.
The Living Rainforest at Hamsptead Norreys will be celebrating the life, voyages and discoveries of Charles Darwin and his book
.
The event will run from 10am to 5pm until Sunday, February 23.
Vintage clothes, accessories, jewellery and furniture will be on sale at Martha's Vintage Market.
Tea and home made cake will be served on vintage china at the event, which takes place at Catholic Hall on the A4 Bath Road, Thatcham, between 10am and 4pm.
Meanwhile, miniature armies will invade Theale Green Community School between 10am and 5pm as part of the Newbury and Reading Wargames Society annual club open day.
The event will feature a number of trade stands demo and participation games and a display of miniature models from different armies from a number of clubs that make up the society.
Food and drink will be available, courtesy of the Newbury Astronomical Society.

Beale Park has a number of fun events for children over the weekend with archery days running until Monday and a bird themed half term trail.
Archers from ArcheryFUN4U will set up targets on Maple Walk from 11am until 4pm until Monday, while the bird walk will run from 10am to 5pm until Sunday, February 23.
Organisers have said that some areas of the park may be restricted because of the recent weather.
Elsewhere, St Nicolas Church, Newbury, will host the Mayor's charity concert on a theme of a Love Story at 7pm in aid of the Duchess of Kent Hospice and the Mayor's Benevolent Fund.
For those of you who want to learn more about wetland birds and their environment, the Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire Wildlife Trust (BBOWT) will be holding a one day course at Woolhampton Village Hall and the surrounding lakes from 10am to 4pm.
