Hampshire PCC Donna Jones launches public consultation for new police and crime plan
Hampshire’s police and crime commissioner has launched a public consultation to develop her new police and crime plan.
PCC Donna Jones launched the consultation on June 10 and it will run for 10 weeks until August 19.
Ms Jones was re-elected for a second PCC term in May with a total of 175,953 votes.
Ms Jones said: “Being re-elected as your police and crime commissioner for a second term is an overwhelming endorsement of the work I’ve delivered to date, specifically the recruitment of 650 additional police officers, bringing back named and contactable local bobbies for every community and opening 10 more police stations and front counters.
“Now, I want get started on what we can do next. By hearing from you, I can develop policies and initiatives that resonate with the unique needs of where you live.
“Each pledge in my new plan will be designed based on direct feedback from you.
“Your views will form the bedrock of my new police and crime plan which is why I want to hear from as many people as possible.”
