Police and paramedics called to incident near Newbury Football Club yesterday (Mon)




POLICE and paramedics have been called to an incident on the patch of land behind Newbury Football Club and opposite the allotments.
A spokesperson for Thames Valley Police, Francine Rodrigues, confirmed that they were attending a "fear for welfare" incident involving a woman in her thirties.
She added that from the information being fed back by police at the scene that the woman in question "seemed ok".
Four police cars and two ambulances were at the scene.
