Police appeal after two people assaulted in Thatcham
The incident happened between 5.45pm and 6.45pm near Blackdown Way and Ilkley Way.
Police would like to speak to a man who was walking his dog in the area at the time and tried to help the woman before he was also attacked.
The man walking his dog was white, in his mid 40s and about 6ft 2in tall. He was wearing a blue jumper and walking a small white dog.
A 23-year-old man from Thatcham was arrested at the scene in connection with the assault and has been bailed July 23.
