Police appeal following altercation in Hungerford

Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses following an altercation in Hungerford.

It is believed that the altercation took place on Wednesday between 8.15pm and 9.45pm by the Memorial on Bridge Street.

Those involved are described as five males, aged between 16 and 18 years old.


No one was injured.

One of the group is believed to have been in possession of a weapon.

He was a white male, wearing brown clothing with writing down the leg of his trousers.

Investigating officer, PC Claire Simpson, based at Newbury police station, said: “I am appealing to anyone who witnessed this incident, or anyone who has any information, to please come forward.
