Police appeal for information from taxi driver following attempted rape

They are specifically interested in a driver who picked up a fare between 2.20am and 3.30am on Friday (31) in and around the Robin Hood Roundabout, Shaw Road or Long Lane.
Investigating officer, Ds Neil Williams, said: “We are trying to identify a private hire taxi driver who took a lone male to Hermitage at that time as we think he or she could have information to help us with our investigation.”
