Police appeal for information to locate missing person

THAMES Valley Police is appealing for information to locate a man who went missing in Theale yesterday (Sat).
Steven Stringer was last seen fishing on the River Kennet off Wigmore Lane, at about 5pm on Friday (25/10).
Mr Stringer, who is from Basingstoke, is 62-years-old, white, 5ft 11ins tall, with short white hair and a beard.
He was last seen wearing the jacket pictured in the attached photo.
Investigating officer, D/Insp Laura Macinnes said: “I would urge anyone who was in the Wigmore Lane area yesterday who may have seen Mr Stringer, or anyone with any information about Mr Stringer’s whereabouts to contact Thames Valley Police immediately.”
