Thames Valley Police appeal for witness to Cromwell Road assault where 15-year-old was threatened with a knife




Police have appealed for a specific witness to come forward after four 15-year-old boys were assaulted by a group of older children, one of whom had a knife.

At around 3.30pm on Monday, July 10, the four boys were assaulted by two older boys and two older girls on Cromwell Road.

One of the victims was threatened with a knife and another was pushed to the floor before a member of the public intervened.

Investigating officer Emily Smallwood said: “We are specifically appealing to the woman who intervened in the incident to get in touch.

“We would also ask anyone who may have dash-cam footage or CCTV of the incident to please come forward.

“If you are the woman who intervened in the incident, or you have footage please upload to our online webpage, or if you have witness information call 101 quoting reference 43230305429.

“If you do not wish to speak to the police you can call the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
