Police appeal for witnesses after assault in Newbury bar leaves woman with injury




Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses to an assault at Cheap Street, Newbury.

A man was pushed by another man into a woman at Walkabout around 12.20am on Saturday, January 22.

The victim, aged in her fifties, was taken to Royal Berkshire Hospital.

The victim suffered a fractured wrist, was treated and has since been discharged.

Newbury police station PC Andrew Whitfield said: “I am appealing for any witnesses to this incident, or anybody with information, to please come forward.
