Thames Valley Police appeal for witnesses after assaulted in Thatcham alleyway




Thames Valley Police are appealing for witnesses to an assault in Thatcham.

At around 6pm on Sunday, July 13, a boy was assaulted by a group of individuals in an alleyway off Mount Road.

The victim, a teenage boy, attended hospital for treatment but has since been discharged.

The offenders are described as a mix of males and females aged between 12 and 18.

Investigating officer PC Shannon Mackley, of Thatcham’s Neighbourhood Policing Team, said: “I am appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this incident.

“You can make a report online or by calling 101, quoting reference 43250352155.

“Alternatively, for anonymity, you can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
