Police appeal for witnesses after assault on a woman in Hungerford

According to police the assault happened at 7.10pm on Saturday and the woman needed hospital treatment for her injuries.
A 27-year-old man was arrested on Monday on suspicion of assault ABH and was bailed to Newbury police station on January 6.
Police believe that there were three witnesses to the assault, and are appealing to these three people to come forward and provide information.
