Police appeal for witnesses after Newbury robbery
Police are appealing for witnesses following a robbery.
Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses to a robbery that occurred in Newbury at approximately 2.15am last Saturday (November 25).
A man dressed in all black threatened the victims, demanding money from them, at the junction of Craven Road and Rockingham Road.
Officers arrived at the scene, but could not locate the offender, whose last known direction of travel was towards Craven Road.
The victims did not sustain any injuries.
Police describe the offender as male, about six-foot tall and dressed in all black with a black balaclava covering his face.
Investigating officer, PC Piotr Pieczyski, based at Newbury Police Station, said: “I am appealing to anybody who was in the area and witnessed this incident to please get in touch with Thames Valley Police.
“I would also be keen to hear from anybody who may have dash-cam or CCTV footage from the area.”
