Police appeal for witnesses after two burglaries in Newbury

Police have appealed for witnesses following two burglaries in Newbury.

Between Sunday, August 29 and Wednesday, September 1, windows at the back of a property in Speen Lane were smashed.

Three individuals entered the property before making off with items from within the house.

A second burglary was also reported in Speen Lane between 7pm on Tuesday, August 31 and 2pm on Wednesday, September 1.

The rear doors of a property were smashed and access was gained to two dwellings, with miscellaneous items stolen, which included two commemorative coins.
