Police appeal for witnesses following incident in pub
Thames Valley Police are appealing for witnesses following an assault causing actual bodily harm.
They have released a CCTV image of a man they wish to speak to in connection with the assault in Newbury.
On Saturday, August 2, at around 2am, a man in his late thirties was assaulted by a man inside The Old Waggon and Horses in Market Place.
The man, who was taken to hospital and later discharged, sustained a heavy nosebleed and facial bruising.
PC Aidan Martin, investigating officer, said: “I am appealing to anybody who witnessed this assault, or anyone who may have information that could assist our investigation to please get in touch.
“I am also appealing to the man in the image to contact us, as he may have vital information that can assist our investigation. If you know him, or if this is you, please get in touch.”
