Thames Valley Police appeal for witnesses to Wash Common assault




Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was assaulted by two others in Wash Common.

The incident occurred between 3.30am and 5am yesterday (Sunday) in the alleyway between Glendale Avenue and Wash Common Park.

The victim, a man in his twenties, was approached by two men who grabbed and assaulted him, before he managed to get free and run off.

One of the offenders is described as white, between 5ft 10ins and 6ft tall, and skinny.

He had ginger hair and was wearing dark clothing, including something covering the bottom half of his face.

The second offender was also white, wearing dark clothing and the shorter of the two offenders.

Detective Constable Nicholas Wilkinson said: “We are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this incident, or who has information about what happened, to please come forward.
