Police appeal to find missing Makeda




15-year-old was last seen near Newbury train station on Friday

Thames Valley Police is appealing for the public’s help in tracing a missing girl from Newbury.

Makeda Wynter, aged 15, was reported missing on Friday. She was last seen in Newbury on her way to the train station.

When Makeda was last seen she was wearing a black puffa jacket, black jeggings and black ankle boots. She may also be wearing light blue jeans and black cropped hooded jumper.

Makeda has links to Tilehurst and is also known to frequent Westfield Shopping Centre, Stratford.

Investigating officer, Det Insp Jonathan Groenen of Force CID, said: “We are increasingly concerned for Makeda’s welfare and would like to ask anyone with information to contact police on 101 quoting Thames Valley Police’s reference number of 1301 (09/12/16) or The Metropolitan Police Service’s reference number of 781 (10/12/16).”
