Thames Valley Police appeals for witnesses after serious road traffic collision on A339 near Greenham




Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses after a road traffic collision left one man with serious injuries.

At around 4.20pm on Friday, September 8, a black Land Rover with a trailer was involved in a collision with a pedestrian on the A339 near Greenham at the junction with Brackenwood Lane.

The pedestrian, a man in his 50s, sustained serious injuries and was taken to hospital, where he remains.

PC Alex Holmes, of the Joint Operations Roads Policing Unit, said: “We are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this incident to please come forward.

“Further, we would also appeal to any motorists who may have dash-cam footage of the area, particularly of the bus stop near to the Brackenwood Lane junction, to please check it in case it may have captured something that could assist the investigation.”
