Thames Valley Police calls off appeal for witnesses after alleged incident in Newbury

Thames Valley Police is no longer appealing for witnesses following an alleged sexual assault in Newbury.

Yesterday (Saturday), an appeal was released containing a CCTV image of two men who were believed to have important information about an incident which occurred in the Slug & Lettuce at Market Place on Saturday, April 29.

Since the publication of the appeal, the two men have come forward to give information.

The police investigation into the incident continues, but the appeal has been removed.
