Police called to Kennet Centre after woman climbs onto roof

Thames Valley Police were called to the scene at Bartholomew Street just after 1pm, however, the woman came down of her own accord and the police left the scene at about 1.20pm.
Police spokeswoman, Elizabeth Hill, said that the shopping centre was not evacuated but that members of the public were kept away from the scene.
She added: “The main thing is that she is safe.”
