Neighbourhood police carry out licensing checks in West Berkshire pubs

LEARN MORENeighbourhood police officers have been in West Berkshire pubs this week conducting licensing checks and offering out advice.
Thames Valley West Berkshire shared a tweet on social media on Friday 24 showing the Thatcham Neighbourhood Policing Team (NHPT) attending pubs in Thatcham and speaking with staff.
The officers have also been delivering posters on spiking awareness and consent for a violence against women campaign.
Yesterday (Friday 25) they also conducted a ‘Have Your Say’ event in Thatcham Broadway speaking with local residents and answering questions.
The Newbury Neighbourhood team also completed licensing checks at the pubs in Newbury over the past week.
They too left consent posters, spiking awareness posters and advice with the staff.
The officers also got cuddles with Dave the dog and shared a picture on their Twitter page on Thursday (March 24).
