A neighbourhood police team has posted the following message on social media: "Thatcham Neighbourhood officer PC Ferrie attended an incident today (Sunday) at Pound Lane park where a 16-year-old male was bullied by a group of five males and two girls, resulting in him being punched in the face.

"The group fled before police arrived but one left his rather nice bike behind.

"The bike is at Newbury Police Station and PC Ferrie is happy to speak to the owner and his parents if they would like to attend to collect it."
