Thames Valley Police chase, detain and arrest man for shoplifting in Thatcham

A man has been arrested for shoplifting in Thatcham, following a short police chase today (Monday).

Police community support officers Vaughan and Martin detained him after a foot chase.

The Newbury Town Neighbourhood Policing Team has arrested the man on suspicion of shoplifting from a local store.
