Body found of missing man in Jubilee Lake in Thatcham

Police have found the body of a man in a lake.

Yesterday (Saturday), officers received a report of a missing person in Thatcham.

Following search activity around Jubilee Lake – which is located south of Lower Way and west of Rosedale Gardens – the body of a man was found that is believed to be the missing person.

A Thames Valley Police spokesperson said: “His family have been informed and are being supported by officers.

“It is being treated as unexplained and non-suspicious and will be referred to the coroner.

“Our thoughts are with the man’s family and friends.”
