The Pangbourne Neighbourhood Police Team is holding a free tool security tagging event at the Horse and Groom car park in Mortimer this Sunday.
The ‘Tool & Tack’ event will take place from 1pm to 4pm, with the police inviting people to get their tools security marked to make them easier to recover if stolen.
Security marking often involves the use of UV pens, engraving tools and forensic marking solutions to make it easier to identify specific items.
The police will also be offering crime prevention advice at the event.
