Police hunt attackers in Newbury





Thames Valley Police were called to Boundary Road at 9.30pm after ambulance crews had attended a property in the road near to the Queen's Road junction following an altercation.
Control room inspector Andrew West said two victims at the property had suffered the injuries to their torsos and had been taken to the Basingstoke and North Hampshire Hospital
He said police were actively searching the Newbury area for those responsible.
"There was a lot of activity at the house, we are looking for two or three individuals, we are not quite sure at the moment," he said.
"The bladed weapons used in the attack have not been recovered, some leads are currently being followed and we would ask anyone for information to come forward."
