Police hunt missing schoolgirl

Rebecca Herbert, aged 14, was last seen leaving to go to school at 7.45am yesterday (Fri).
Rebecca is 5ft 3ins tall, with short brown hair.
When she was last seen, she was wearing her school uniform.
It is believed she has been accessing Facebook but may have now run out of phone battery.
Her family urges anyone who knows where she is to let her mother know she is safe by contacting her on the social networking site.
Investigating officer Dc Brian Lock from Newbury CID said: “We urge Rebecca or anyone who knows where she might be to get in touch with us immediately.
“She is not in any trouble, we just need to know she is safe.”
