Police investigate suspected arson in Upper Bucklebury

According to Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service spokeswman, Nicole Targett, one pump from Newbury, another from Tilehurst and the incident command unit from Tilehurst were called at 3.23am to Mortons Lane, where two sheds were well alight.
The fire spread to the roof of an adjacent bungalow and four firefighters used breathing apparatus to tackle the blaze, while cutting away damaged material. A thermal imaging camera and ventilation fan were also used.
No-one was hurt.
The sheds were completely destroyed in the blaze and the roof of the bungalow was ten per cent damaged.
Firefighters left the scene at 4.22am.
Thames Valley Police spokeswoman, Rhianne Pope, said police were called at 3.58 am to the incident, which was being treated as arson.
