Police investigate unexplained death

A spokeswoman for Thames Valley Police, Connie Primmer, said: “Officers were called to an address in Herewood Close, Newbury, at 6.10pm on Tuesday. A man in his 30s was found dead in the property.”
Witnesses said officers in protective clothing were seen entering the home but Ms Primmer said: “The death is being treated as unexplained but not suspicious. We are awaiting preliminary post mortem results.”
Meanwhile police are still looking into an incident earlier on the same day in which a woman, believed to be in her 30s, was found dying in an alleyway off Andover Road in Newbury.
