Police investigating report of suspicious person entering garden of property on Little Knowl Hill on February 22

Police are investigating a report of a suspicious person and car that were spotted in the Ashford Hill area.

At around 6.30pm on Thursday, February 22, a suspicious male was seen to enter a person’s garden. They had parked a car nearby.

This occurred on Little Knowl Hill (B3051) in the area of Fair Oak, between Ashford Hill and Kingsclere.

PC Simon Denton, who is investigating the incident, said: “Did you see this suspicious male or their car? Perhaps you’ve seen them in the area before at other times?

“I would appreciate any contact about this male, the car they were in and any details that could lead to a prosecution.”

Police have asked residents who might have information about the incident to report it to them on their website quoting the crime reference number 44240083404.
