Thames Valley Police make woolly good puns on rural patrols

Police officers have been patrolling in rural areas across the district.

The Hungerford and Downlands Neighbourhood Team took to rural areas on January 31.

A Thames Valley Police West Berkshire tweet discussed tackling rural crime in a light-hearted message.

The tweet read: "Ewe can sheep well tonight in the knowledge we've got it covered.

"Our sergeant was against the puns but the team voted for them, and it was a lambslide."
