Thames Valley Police patrols combat crime in West Berkshire's rural areas




Police officers are out in the rural parts of the district to detect and combat crime today (January 30).

The Hungerford and Downlands Neighbourhood Team shared a social media post this afternoon (Sunday).

It said that the neighbourhood team were in West Berkshire's rural areas conducting patrols to "detect and combat rural crime and those responsible".

Earlier in the week (Wednesday, January 26), the Hungerford and Downlands Neighbourhood Team undertook security system training to tackle plant machinery theft in rural areas.

It said "help us identify stolen plant machinery, return it to its owner and catch those responsible for plant thefts".
