Police officers in Newbury collect donations for West Berks Foodbank

The team at Newbury Police Station have been collecting food and toiletries for charity.

In a tweet posted today (Monday) it said that staff and officers had been collecting the donations, for West Berks Foodbank.

It also thanked the Newbury Weekly News for its donations to the collection.

In the social media post, three members of the team were outside the station with boxes of items which has been collected for the local organisation.

It said: "Everyone at Newbury Police Station wishes you a very happy and peaceful Christmas".
