Police on the hunt for Newbury robbers





At about 5.30pm on December 11, the victim was walking in Westwood Road when she was approached by two boys from behind.
The offenders snatched the woman’s handbag and her mobile phone.
The victim screamed and the offenders ran down the alley opposite Plumpton Road.
The stolen items were later recovered in a nearby driveway.
The offenders are aged between 15 and 18 and were wearing dark clothes with their hoods up.
The victim was left shaken by the incident, but was not injured.
