"Officers are investigating, and patrols at Park House School will continue whilst TVP investigate further."

Parents received an email from the school yesterday afternoon (Monday) informing them of the incident and encouraging them to discuss the importance of remaining safe with their children.

The email added that an unknown man had followed two students as they made their way home.

The students described the man as being elderly, approximately 65 to 70 years of age, around 5ft 9ins to 6ft tall, with greying hair and stubble on his face, the email added.

It said that the school had been in contact with police and said that tutors would also be discussing safety with pupils.
