Thames Valley Police recover suspected stolen lamb near Aldermaston

PC Brooke from the Thatcham Neighbourhood Policing Team has recovered a lamb from a site near Aldermaston.

The animal is suspected to be stolen and was discovered following information from the concerned community.

It was found while the officer was working with the Thames Valley Police Rural Crime Taskforce.

They are now looking to find the owner.

Lambing starts in early spring but some farmers in the south can start in December while others further north in April.
